Tom Savini Announced as Keynote Speaker

Speaker: Tom Savini Saturn award-winning (Day of the Dead) special make-up effects artist Tom Savini has been announced as a keynote speaker for the 2010 IMATS Sydney. Savini’s film make-up credits also include Dawn of the Dead and Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter; he also founded the Tom Savini Special Make-Up Effects Program. IMATS Sydney Student Comp.: Beauty Winner, London

This year's beauty/fantasy competition theme is Alice in Wonderland, inspired by director Tim Burton's re-imagining of the classic story, and the character/prosthetic competition theme is Grimm's Fairy Tales, which pays homage to the classic stories from childhood.
